Spring Is Finally Here !
So what could be nicer than celebrating it’s arrival by bringing a few friends and family along this Easter Sunday for a relaxing lunch at The Cider Barn. Our Chefs have put together a special menu to celebrate that day.
Easter Sunday Menu
Glass of perry and appetizer
Crab salad with crab french toast, wild garlic mayonnaise, pickled radish and watercress
Mushroom and quail egg tart with hollandaise
Warm Earl grey smoked sea trout with avocado purée, pickled vegetables and hazelnut gremolata
Truffle and parmesan custard with asparagus wrapped in Serrano ham
Hereford beef sirloin with smoked brisket croquette, Yorkshire pudding and onion gravy
Rosemary and lemon cannon of hogget with crispy breast and medlar gravy
Pan roasted duck breast and ragu of leg meat with aioli and port gravy
Chicken ballotine with thyme, apricot and pancetta
Pan fried Cod with charred asparagus, spring onion mashed potato and mussel and lemon sauce
All served with roast potatoes and a selection of vegetables.
Chocolate fondant with bananas, peanuts and rum
Hot cross bun pudding with tonka bean parfait, white chocolate ganache and yogurt sorbet
Doughnuts with fennel sugar and lemon curd
Selection of local cheeses, Irish marrow chutney, thyme crackers and celery
